Hello, I'm connected to a WiFi Internet service through a Nanostation2. I'm having some troubles connecting to some peer-to-peer clients (eMule, Azureus, uTorrent). I've already cleared the ports theese clients use in the Windows XP Firewall but I think the modem may be blocking the connections. How can I access the setup of the modem to forward theese ports?
Please reply like I was a 5-year-old, I'm new at this.
Thank you in advance, Negro77.

Hey Negro77,
If you go to the system tab of the WEB GUI, you will see a download config button. Download these, open them with a WORD program and paste the text into the forum.
Thanks,
Mike

How can I access de WEB GUI?
Point you web browser to the IP addy of your NS. Of course an out-of-the-box of defaulted NS would be 192.168.1.20.

Hello,
The GUI is web based. Please launch your favorite web browser and point it to 192.168.1.20. This will give you full access to the WEB UI options.
Thanks,
Mike

I can't get to the WEB GUI, when I put http://192.168.1.20 in IE 7 and Mozilla Firefox both retrieve the same error:
* Read Error
The system returned:
(104) Connection reset by peer

In the LAN SETTINGS of you computer,
Put the IP address : 192.168.1.22 , Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Click on OK.
Now Open the browser and type http://192.168.1.20
The username : ubnt
password: ubnt
hope this helps!

Hello gents...
I'm in a similar situation. I'm trying to do similar things as "Negro 77".
Before I continue, please take a look at this URL: "http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/NAT_problem".
I'm using a NanoStation2. I don't remember if I "own" it, or rent it; I'm a customer of the "USI Wireless" network in Minneapolis, MN. What I call their "level 1" Customer Support people are useless for solving my Port Forwarding issues such as: static IP, DHCP, listening ports (UDP and TCP), UPnP, on and on and on...
Only time will tell if their "level 2" techies will help or not. They seem to have the holiday weekend off.
BTW, in my case ALL the internal settings have been locked out to me. Only the techies can access the innards, so don't bother asking me to check on any particular stript or codes, I can't help.

Negro 77 was having problems connecting to some P2P sites. Its very possible they are being blocked at his ISP's end and he'll have no control over that.
