Are you planning to introduce new UB-5 card? I have found some info at polish distributor www:
http://anteny24.pl/pl/details.html?id=346
but no info about this card at the official UBNT site.

Hi, I have new Ubiquiti UB5 minipci card and test it in network.
And have litle problem with power regulation, If I set 14dB or more, all is ok. On remote side i have -60dBm.
If I set 13dB or less, link is disconnected, and on remote side I see siganl -90dBm.
I try ROS 3.15 and 3.17 and 4 UB5 card, same problem.

I contact Mikrotik support, and thy say me : Contact the manufacturer to get the information about the power offset.

Here is link to Mikrotik forum : http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=28753

Thanks for some solutin

Hi Moly,

We always recommend to use default power levels when using Mikrotik. The default power levels are what we program into the card ensuring optimal performance at all data rates.

It seems Mikrotik might be doing something unique with the card power data when adjusting power levels. We have seen it be problematic; so definitely stick with default card power settings.

I Have 4 Four XR5Ghz Wiht Mikrotik With RB600H with With 20 Watt of Power.

Can XR5Ghz work perfect with RB600H board WE have some stranger problem using it.?

So i have in all my client Using UBNT CPE NanoStation5ghz, We get some time 5 ping time Out we Add in teh configuration Defaul Tx power can it help us !! we are doing Test.. lest see the result .

We are using Phihong Gigabit injector is POE20U-560(G) which is working fine this give us 20W.

1. According to 802.3af-2003 standard PoE device max supported power is 15.4W. Phihong PoE injectors with power over 15.4W just use the same detection and voltage control as 802.af-2003 complaint devises but they are NOT 802.3af complaint as they use different max load current control and probably different detection of powered device class. Please see 802.3af standard for details.
RB600 PoE detection is designed according to 802.3af standard but it was not tested with all non-802.3af PoE injectors.

4x XR's = ~24W only

anyway the rb600 cant handle that power on the pci lines
