I have put up 6 sectors using XR3's, RB411A's, and Hyperlink 15dbi 120 degree sectors. So far things have been both good and bad. Installation has been a hassle, as you look at rssi signal levels, they always bounce around by 10 or 15 db. Signal levels also seem very low, I replaced my exisiting Waverider EUM running off an omni at my access point with an xr3 radio with RB411 and 18dbi arc wireless antenna. I went from a -63 rssi on the waverider to a -85 or worse on my new unit. My connection comes and goes all the time. It should be a lot better than this I believe. I have other customers who I had put on and things were ok, but now they are getting worse. When I get a customer on and they stay on, the speeds are just fine, just what I expected.
I trying to figure out what to do next.
1. Give up on the Ubiquiti project alltogether? Don't really want to do that.
2. Replace the sectors with something "better"?
3. Check out the new Transeo systems
I just don't know what to do to cure this. I'm hoping some of you that are way better at this than me can give me some ideas.

Follow up:
I took the AP that I am on at home where I was bouncing off and on and reduced the power. I have now been on for over 13 hours straight and it working better than ever. rssi's are still kinda low, but it is encouraging.

Hello Dusty,
How do you have the TX power settings in the MikroTik?
Thanks,

I currently have one of my access point set to card rates, 21 dbm so I see the following:
6Mbps 21(14)
9Mbps 21(14)
12Mbps 21(14)
18Mbps 21(14)
24Mbps 21(14)
36Mbps 21(14)
48Mbps 17(10)
54Mbps 16(9)
I still have one customer on this ap that is bouncing all the time. I tried to switch to nstreme, but too may people bounced quite often. Here is from my log:

I had this problem. I think its just like yours. Its the power save feature in routeros. You cant disable it in 3.0 routeros. They dont let you. Call me at 402-534-2502 or 402-641-7692 and dont use SP6 lightning protectors from pac wireless. Some reason XR3 get killed by them. Whats your number?

how are you able to have 6 sectors at same location. You cant, you have only 3 usable channels. If you have more than 3 sectors you are going to interfere with your self.
