First of all, hello.
I've bought a couple of NS2 over the traditional WRT54G, cause i though what the heck', experimenting is not for just when you're in college.
A bunch of laptops connect to it without a hitch. I tried connecting to the NS2 with my Windows Mobile 6 device (HTC S730). DHCP goes fine, but that's it. I can see phone's ARP on the nanostation, but i can't pass any layer3 traffic, as if it the device wasn't associated at all (which is not the case since i can obtain an IP through DHCP and the MAC shows up in NS2's associations). The phone works fine with any other AP, i've tried it with a Cisco 1131AG (which i believe is Atheros based) and it works.
A debug ip packet on the Cisco router behind NS2 stops after the DHCP offer.
Any ideas what to look for in the NS2? I couldn't care less if my phone has an issue, but is this the case with any windows mobile device? This is a problem for me, as my NS2 is a hotspot.
Thank you.
