Is the powerstation FCC certified in the U.S. for 5.4GHz operation?
Based on UBNT saying the PS was cross certified with the NS.
The best answer I can come up applies to the NS that is certified for lower limit of 5745.0 Mhz and upper limits of 5825.0 MHz.

Hey Guys,
The PowerStation is not certified for use in the 5.4Ghz to 5.7Ghz range to to the requirement of DFS. This is bieng added in our software release and will come out sometime in the future.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks. Had a bid going out next Friday. I'll just bid the units in 5.8 for now. Thanks.

Could always try Moto's 5.4 Radios. They work very well....well as long as you aren't around any radar they work well :)...but that would be the same for any 5.4 radio.

Thanks. I actually use those but at $15-$20K per pair, it's a little expensive for what I want them for. I'm actually going to daisy chain about 6-8 pairs. Moto is a little expensive for that.

15-20K a pair...I'm not talking the OFDM series, I'm talking the standard 10Mb and 20Mb Moto 5.4 BH's.
Granted even if you go with the 20Mb unit you'll still only get about 14Mb out of it

It's more important to get certs on the Nanos for backhaul. 5.8GHz is a little crowded in some areas. Mike, any news?

Hey Guys,
None at this time. I do apologize but the certification process takes an excessive amount of time do the the slowness of the FCC>
Thanks,
Mike

It's been another 5 months. Any updates on 5.4GHz certification yet? What about the Airmax radios, will they be Certified at 5.4?

Just wanted to bump this in case there's a new status. 5.4 support is of interest to me for backhauls, much like for others here.

Any news here??? We all could really use this.
AFAIK, the FCC has not made any progress on this. No Notices for action have been posted.
