With this upcoming new MIMO technology would a person be able to set up a 2X2 MIMO with a dual polarized dish (1 vertical X 1 Horizontal) and be able to reap the benefits of MIMO or would one have to set up 2 dishes with same polarization on each end of the link?

I saw an antenna like that but it was making trouble which was interference problem.

Hey Guys,
Once SR71 starts shipping we will post more info on this.
Thank you,
mike
As a general statement, yes, a dish or two with dual polarity should work well. "polarity diversity"

In my case, it worked. I have 3x3 MIMO setup with an old Trango dual-pol reflector, and 1' 5.8 GHz dish and it's pushing 92 Mbps TCP throughput.

would you mind to share, which model are you using actually?
We look for the more high throughput backhaul, but not sure how reliable of this.
Thanks.
