Hi ubnt,

It is possible to slightly lower the 256MB memory restriction to 247MB,

thus the world can use it on MS XP's installed on PC engines ALIX boards?

cheers,

have you actually attempted this regardless of ram?

ALIX from PC engines has 256 MB onboard RAM, part of it (8M) used by VGA.

That's why only 248MB can be used by OS. I try to install the recent

version of AirView (1.0.11), but it yells:

"AirView Spectrum Analyzer cannot be installed on systems with less

physical memory than 256MB."

Should be nice, if Samir lower the memory test treshhold value from

256M to 248M (if it is only a question of simple numerical comparison).

As far as know the AirView process eats something about 55M of RAM,

thus should not shut down the system - but who knows...
