just reading around and looking at what's there, connecting the dots.
with AirView on the M hardware this means that there is Atheros hardware support for the scanning required, at least in the AP chipsets.
so I think we would be seeing a AirView software package for Atheros based MIMO capable client adapters, or an ahteros AP hardware married to a USB chipset for the purpose of AirView.
and for now, you can buy/use a spare AirMax compatible unit and run AirView with it over ethernet.
best solution: Bullet M with a onmi, the new passive POE/USB for power.
