since they are based on the same chipset has anyone tried using EaKiu? (http://www.eakiu.com/)
this would be a step closer to not having an API.
I just shot David an email asking about interoperability.
the AirView is on my wishlist of things to get when I have the extra funds.

Her is the response I got:
Aloha Steven:
have you tried the Ubiquiti AirView with your program? is there a way to add
support for it?
We really can't add support for devices that we don't have a relationship
with the manufacturer (otherwise we would have to pony up $$ for all these
devices, the Metageek line itself would run over $2000 easily).
If a manufacturer wants us to support their device, they have to seed us
with product and also put is in the developer documentation cycle... without
that it's merely a waste of time (especially considering that we provide
EaKiu for free).
