Bought this AirView 2 mostly because of the price and some RF work I do. Initially tried to install the software and hardware to no avail, and because of the price just put it aside.

Yesterday, I dusted off my AirView and was more determined to get this working. Tried some things and eventually emailed tech support. Received an email from Kevin Perry within an hour. After a couple of Q&A emails my case was sent to Ramin Akhbari. Again several Q&A emails.

Ramin sent me his telephone number (which is not too typical in Tech Support...) I called the number, but got interrupted. He promptly called back and we spent many minutes uninstalling and reinstalling JAVA and the Spectrum Analyzer. Eventually, I got the software installed, but it still did not work. I emailed Ramin the good\bad news late last night.

Promptly Ramin emailed this AM, with some other ideas, which included him remote controlling my machine. Something in his email prompted me to do some "hard core" removal of JAVA (directories and reg edits.) Re-re-installation of JAVA and the spectrum analyzer and everything is working perfectly.

Thanx to Ramin and the tech support team at Ubiquity Networks. If it wasn't for Ramin's persistence in solving this issue, I probably would have given up again.

My Environment: Lenovo x300, Windows 7 Pro x64, JRE 6 update 19 (32bit only)--NO compatibility checked and NO "Run as Administrator" needed
