Guys,

I'm doing some business modelling. Need to know MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) in the real world.

This will help us a lot in doing our cashflow, knowing when to change our equipments.

Sorry, jaf, there simply are no
tabulated figures for this.

Variable like power surges, lightning-
induced transients, water infiltration
and other factors make this impossible.

Installers don't change radios unless
they fail or need updating with better
models. There's no change schedule.

I would suggest you use a useful life
of no more than 3 years for budget. Dave

I would say that UBNT products are still too young in order to evaluate this... If you take all reasonable precautions installing, the I would say that MTBF is certainly longer than 2 years...

That's about as long as my oldest stuff right now. I have had 3 radios out of 200+ in the field fail if that helps.
