I think I'm not the only person who uses these on towers, etc which requires cable runs down to the USB adapter. It would be nice if i could set the db of cable loss so I had accurate readings on these installs. I can get a rough idea from doing a sight survey with a Bullet2 and omni on the same tower, but thought it's be a nice feature.

Yep - I assume if I've got a 100' of coax between the Omni on the tower and the little USB dude that the signal levels aren't accurate. Did I smoke to much crack again or does tis makes sense?
Well...since you're into wireless, may I suggest AirCrack...
Anyway, yeah, you might be loosing several dB from coax cable loss.

Somehow the term air and crack should never be used together! I'll look into that. I'm seeing a several db loss from the Bullet/Omni up there and the Spectrum Analyzer down here. It seems like an easy add on (from my chair) and would save me that whole math thing. I'm in a resort area so the spectrum changes dramatically during the summer. I have them in 4 locations and they have different losses so my math goes to hell quickly.

Ditto for AirSnort......
