If you're going to buy a Ubiquiti solution,
why not break down and buy one?
Better yet: buy a pair; they're cheap! Dave

We don't have an airmax radio yet, how much different is the firmware than the older airos?

Take a look at the AirOS 5.0 manual.
Not a huge difference. Dave

Yeah, the WIKI does a good job of giving you an idea of what the interface will look like.
I would be nice for people who are trying to decide what to buy (or for those of us that only have older devices) to have a "demo" interface to look at.

So many things would be nice.
Who can name a major commercial
router, firewall, WiFi radio, etc.
that has a live Website of their
product just to 'look at'? Dave

Just because other vendors don't do it, doesn't mean that it should be done. It would be an extra selling point and a nice feature.

well caring about what it looks like is pointless. What you need to know is how it works and performs. And it works great and performs better than any previous gear i have used, specifically proxim which is terrible.

Mikrotik has one
Try RouterOS now by using our online demo routers.
Connect via Telnet or download our graphical application Winbox. When connecting in either way, use the address demo.mt.lv or demo2.mt.lv. Username is "demo" and there is no password.
You can also visit the webpage of our demo routers and look at traffic graphs Note: web configuration is disabled for demo users right now
http://demo.mt.lv and http://demo2.mt.lv
