I could use some help on this setup situation: i am going to use a mikrotik RB 450G for my authentication.

I Have a T-1 w/cisco 1720 @ one location less than a mile from my tower @ the tower i have 4 Nanostation 2's for my AP's. connecting the tower to where the T-1 is a NS 5 Bridge. I would like to have the Mikrotik RB 450g at the tower and have each NS2 go to a port on that. but i am unshure if the NS5 bridge would transmit the T-1 signal to the Mikrotik router and work properly.

option 2 i could put the mikrotik rb450g where the T-1 originates and then send it across the NS5 bridge to a netgear switch @ the tower where all NS2's plug into.

I have the NS5 bridge programmed but am unsure on the proper programming all the setting's. Also any suggestions on programming for my NS2's would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

I have a similar setup. I use the "Option 2" method. It works well for me for the past several years. You are on the right track.

I would make your NS5's into PxP with security. AP at the T-1 and Client at the tower connecting to your switch.

If there is a way that works better, I'm all ears.
