Hello,
We have gone a different route and that will be released as a Beta in the next week or two.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
I am interested in the spectrum analayser situation, what are your plans and can we get a hold of the Beta?

look at the powerbridge page. There's a set of screenshots at the bottom that tells me the 5G spectrum analyzer will be integrated in some form or another directly into the device
now I have no idea as to what display technology is used (I would have used a json streaming system and canvas...)

Is there any update on this? I"m really looking for something that will do 5Ghz spectrum analysis (for less than thousands of $$s!)

My colleague, Richie_Rich, and I would also be interested in a 5GHz Analyzer. However, I have found in my area of the world, West Tennessee, that 2.4GHz is the way to go for our terrain and where we use 5GHz (the backhaul) is so high in the air, it's hundreds of feet away from any consumer interference.

sxpert made an interesting comment on another thread regarding a 5Ghz Spectrum Analyzer here: http://www.ubnt.com/forum/showthread.php?p=82397#post82397
if I understood correctly, there will be an analyzer integrated in AirOS 5.2 that will be able to be run on each series M hardware

Another vote. Current solutions being offered are impractical for portable use and lack the convenience provided by Airview (and Wi-Spy).
Desperately need a 5GHz version of Airview to provide an alternative to the $600 Wi-Spy DBx, in the same manner that the $40 Airview2 competed with the $100 Wi-Spy 2.4x.

Indeed. AirMax products now have AirView Spectrum Analyzing built in.
