I have one Bullet M5 where the Use Secure Connection (HTTPS) button was inadvertently selected and AirControl was using port 22 to connect to it. I unselected SSH and changed the remote access port to 8089, but AirControl still wants to make an SSH connection.

Rebooted the Bullet, tried a Disconnect of the Bullet in AirControl, reloaded A/C, but A/C still sees it as an SSH device when I try to Connect to it.

Edited...Nevermind, it took an hour, but now the radio is connected

Edit #2...Hmmm, looks lik my IT kid took care of the problem as I can see him pushing 5.1.2 to all the units.

Not sure I understand what the issue was. AirControl requires SSH service to be enabled on the device, all connection control operations initiated by AirControl go through SSH, not through HTTP or HTTPS. (The reporting from the device to the AirControl server uses HTTP.)

Even when the "Use Secure Connection (HTTPS)" is unchecked?

Yes, that option is only there for the launch web UI link, SSH is required in any case. Since 5.x there is no more automatic HTTP to HTTPS redirect, so you need to tell AirControl whether you access the Web UI through HTTP or HTTPS.
