Hi,
I have a litestation2 running XS2.ar2316.v3.0.SDK.
Its relatively new, so we have not had a lot of opportunites to test the device, but we are having a problem getting the device to retrieve a DHCP address from the network that we are associated with.
We have discussed the problem with th eadmin of the network and he is willing to try to find the problem through some packet captures on his side.
What can I do to troubleshoot the device before resorting to asking him for time to capture a DHCP negotiation between the ls2 and his network? Troubleshooting logs?
Here is the configuration file attahced.
TIA

Hello,
What changes were made with the SDK?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
thanks for the reply.
I cant say exactly which changes were made with the SDK since we purchased this board as part of a product. The product support team has told us they will roll a new firmware that will attempt to address this and other issues.
In the meantime, I am trying to see if there is any kind of workaround that we can use to get this system operational. From looking more deeply at the console of the ls2 (telnet), I have been able to determine that this board is running v 0.9.9 of udhcpc.
Nonetheless, whenever I try to renew a dhcp lease, I get no address. For the time being we have had to request a static ip from the network admin. Since we are on a boat, we cant count on that to be the case in every marina where the boat stops, so resolving these dhcp issues is paramount.
Are there any known issues with this version of udhcpc or with the ls2 firmware that could be contributing here. What is the minimum firmware version that I should ask the tech support team to work with in resolving this and other issues?
TIA

If you can load the current firmware (v3.5) and set the LS2 as a NAT/Router you shouldn't have any problem using the AirOS GUI to easily connect to different AP's as you move from marina to marina.
When tech support gets the new SDK done you can load that back on if you still need it.
