Hello, I was wondering what is the minimum working voltage for PowerStation 2.
I want to run PS2 using solar panels and batteries but I want to cut up the costs for an inverter, so I am to build a power supply providing voltage from the battery.
I have to know what is the minumum safe voltage for PS2 then the battery goes under 12V. I assume PS2 would work even with 6.5~7volts is that correct?

Hi,
I have a very similar query, and I have read all the similar minimum voltage topics on Nanos & Bullets, which incidentally make me happy :D

What is the minimum voltage spec (and actual reality) of a PS2 pls? 12v? 11v? 9v? 5v. I mean at the device pls, not at the battery as I know about volatge drop over cable length.

My application is that I want to run a pair of powerstations to update a long distance radio link using batteries charged by a combined wind genny & solar panel. This will replace older kit supplied by various others. The context is that Just occasionally we get a low voltage battery caused by long periods of calm and overcast weather. Secondly, at some point I expect a cell to die in the pack of batteries. Obviously if the PS2 keeps running down to say 9v then we have much more opportunity to detect oncoming failure than if it stops dead at 11.9v

Thanks,

WHT
