View Full Version : Ping Watchdog ?
I have a number of Bullet M5 as APs and working fine except two locked up, one time each (so far). I cycled power and they started again ok. The ping watchdog feature is not enabled but thinking about doing so.
Is the watchdog a hardware or firmware only implementation ? If firmware only, wondering if it locks up too and not able to restart Bullets ?
Thanks

Hello,
The watchdog is only for firmware at this time. What firmware are you currently using on these devices?
Thanks
Mike
Thanks Mike,
- All Bullet M APs using 5.02. Any special details about that rev?
- Wondering how effective the ping watchdog is when it is part of the firmware that can hang up ?
- Did I understand that a newer version of Bullet has a hardware ping watchdog ?
Thanks

You might want to upgrade to 5.1 firmware...
