Hello,

I would like to disable MIMO on rocket M and run on single polarity only because I do not want to use other polarity as well.

Is there anyway I can disable one pol.

Can it be done by not connecting the rf cable to one of the pol?

Thanks

Hello,

This is not possible with Rocket hardware. If you only need a single polarity please use our Bullet M product as it is 1x1.

Thanks,

Mike

What would happen if I connect only single pol in antenna disable airmax? Will there be any damage to the radio.

We have experienced high ping times and packet loss in airmax, so my idea of disabling one pol is for troubleshooting purposes.

Hello,

For troubleshooting purposes, you can disconnect a polarity without issue. Just do not leave it unplugged for prolonged periods of time.

Thanks,

Mike

If you disconnect the polarity it still will use it for even single chain rates. I've got a few links that have less then expected/performance throughput where I use RocketM5->BulletM5, I've done the 50 ohm thing on the unused chain.
