Hey Guys
I got some more questions but I dont know if they have been asked or anything but here is my questions:

can I run this program from Ubuntu Server 9.10 or does it need a GUI installed with the server?

can I still run this program if I put it behind pfsense?

does this program have a option to reboot the CPE from office?

whats the max CPE's can this program handle I know it say 100's but I am sure there is a max?

Also can this program disable customers for nonpay or not?

Sorry not sure on this one but im sure other people would know.

Certainly can! we do, if you have a specific question about using it behind pfsense please let me know.

does this program have a option to reboot the CPE from office?

Yes.

whats the max CPE's can this program handle I know it say 100's but I am sure there is a max?

I've had ~400 but our server started to lag 3GHz Dual Core Xeon - 1GB RAM, though it was/is running other services and I suspect the lack of RAM was the cause.

Also can this program disable customers for nonpay or not?

No not yet, post in the wish list and we may get that function!

Hope this helps.

Use the debian installer for Ubuntu, there are plenty users running AirControl on Ubuntu. Was this not already answered on this forum?

well I tried to install it on ubuntu 9.10 server w/o gui on it and it wont install due to something about java wasn't installed.

so is the deb package is it for desktop version or the server version or both?

Installers are for the server. There is no UI specific install, you access it from the browser.

yes I was able to access it by browser after it was installed onto my 9.10 server.

I would suggest playing about with it on a test network, you would only need one device to play.

But I believe the answer to your question is a yes - you can log into the device if you are on the same subnet though thinking about it your question is a bit ambiguous, please try and explain in a bit more depth.
