Which option in the /var/tmp/system.cfg do you turn the LEDs off ?
Question does not seem to be asked based on a search.
Do not want the Ubnt kit to become a target for young kids with with a catapult/slingshot ?
??
cat /proc/gpio/system_led
LEDS: 883 1e404

Hi kilos,
Our advice would be simple use scotch for LEDs, as there is no easy way to switch them off from command line.

Justin, you can shut off the signal LEDs by
setting them to a very low sensitivity number.
This doesn't cut off the power and LAN LEDs, but
at least they're green, and not so attracting.
And they don't tend to flash so distinctly. Dave

My advice would be to introduce a Community Outreach Scheme in order to tackle delinquency - "Hey kids - stay in school!"

Great idea on low sensitivity and scotch tape.
Can use a black marker pen too

Black marker fades in the sunlight. Use Scotch 33 or 88 black tape.

Hi,
I don't now why it isn't a option in further OS. The LED's are so brightly! The LED's are great! But only for installation. Installation is only circa 0,00001 percent of Nano using time. So I think it will be a usefull option to switch off all LED's.
In our village the people talking about the lights at every roof. You know there are some people which are not so amused for WLAN. They have no plan from the technologie but they can see the lights not the Nano at day.

Hi to all,
last week I installed 2 AirGrid and 2 NanoStation on the roof of my holding: all are ok and work very well but now there are four new stars in the sky. Please make an option we can switch off all LEDs via software!!
Thanks.
Why not just use electrical tape?

Why not just use electrical tape?
Yes, you're right but I think that those who have designed a device like this, so well done, must be able to satisfy demand without having to alter the aesthetics with electrical tape!
Scotch 33 black tape and Scotch white tape (similar to black 33 grade).
