View Full Version : AirMax - Throughput X 10/100 base
Hi!
The AirMax works with throughput 150mbps +.
But its networking interface is 10/100 base-tx.
If it is not gigabit, as it works in 150mbps?

AirMax throughput is 150mbps aggregate, which is 75mbps in each direction since ethernet is full-duplex.

OTOH, airmax is still based on half duplex radios which means that technically you should be able to get something close to 150 mbit in any direction alone. I guess the point is that the real TCP throughput is ~ 100 mbit max anyway, so the ethernet is not the bottleneck.
