I have noticed that my aircontrol box crashes when I upload a firmware file. I am running Centos 5.4 and the linux Aircontrol client. I have attached a screendump of what JDebug error it gives me. This has happened in every version I have tried. Eventually, if I shutdown and startup the aircontrol service, it can get it up upload.

This screenshot unfortunately gives no further indication of the cause. You must have installed from the tarball, did you ever set any memory options? This is included in the latest README - check the memory option:

You may need to set the following in bin/catalina.sh for your environment:
CATALINA_OPTS=-Xmx1024m
JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun (or wherever java was installed)
