I would like to know some basic question to ask to the firmware provider while using UBNT hardware,
for example if I would like to use Mikrotik OS what should I looking for or which catagory I should pickup before I upload firmware, like x86 or RouterBoard (Ofcourse UBNT is not routerboard, or etc...). How one should know before it upload any third party firmware that will work with UBNT hardware? Ofcourse firmware developer generally mentioned type of firmware and versions for that but it's my filling that while looking at some of the Atheros based hardware which contain firmware should work with UBNT hardware. Or anybody has listing of the firmware which can be supported by UBNT Hardware? Sorry I might have asked too much but its' weekend....

Hello,
We do not support 3rd party firmware for UBNT Products. YOu would need to contact the specific developer of the firmware to see if they support our hardware or not. If they do you will lose your warrantee for software support. However we will still support the hardware.
Thanks,
Mike

DD-WRT, FireServe and many others work perfectly with the UBNT hardware.
I found that works better than AirOS, even I send emails to support@ubnt.com with infromation about my study of the problems that I found in AirOS, but noone send back a response.
Mike.Ford I will send you a PM with some information of the problems that I found, maybe you are more intrested than the people who answer the support@ubnt.com account.
Good Luck,
I found that works better than AirOSAny details on this?
