Is it possible to get this into the next firmware (see attached file)?

Yes this would be a great feature to have.

signal strength is exported via snmp in airos3, id havent tested airos5 but it is possible.

theres couple other values you can get, check cacti thread on this forum somewhere.

it would be nice to have it in the firmware itself.... like the throughput statistics

It wouldn't be very beneficial for large installations, better if it would be in air control. But thats just my opinion.

Hey Guys,

I shot this suggestion over to my software team.

Thanks,

Do you guys want to have it persistent or just like throughput graphs?

1.(persistent) I mean info is collected all time (let say 2hours moving range) and it is drown when graph window is open.

2.(temporal) Or it is starting to collect info and draw it when window is open.

(1.) is RAM angry we have to keep information history on device. But it is useful because it has history of the past. That is usually what is needed to check what happen 5min ago.
(2.) easy to add. But graphs window must be open to see history.

Of cause the best is to collect that info through SNMP to remote host and represent that info in the style you want (cacti, mrtg)

Also nice feature for AirControl. Thanks.

Well, Mike, if you really do include those things in Air Control, make sure it can replace something like cacti, so people like me can actually use it for something important than just as a show off how many air max devices i have :P

On the side note, i don't have anything against Java, till its maintenance free :icon_lol:

Having it in AirControl would be good as well as syslog operation.

It would be nice to have it persistent(RAM), but I think showing last 48h would be enough

Wow that is nice, now if I could only get AirControl to play nice with my network.
