Configuration Questions,
I have several SRC cards and one SR71 card. I do a lot of outdoor wireless deployments and have been really happy with your cards and have some custom software written to do drive testing with them. I have been using a script with Net Stumbler to collect information for a while, but have a new program that needs to connect using the Windows Client in order to log connection data.
I was testing a network last week and found that with the Windows client things weren't roaming well. I got into the advanced settings for the card in Windows and played around with them but wasn't able to make it work better.
After looking into it, it seems that the values I'm getting in Windows are related to the specific card I'm using "SRC-300." I know what some of the values mean but was really looking for a way to optomize them for outdoor roaming. Can you provide a manual for the values and what they mean or better yet give suggestions on settings to optomize roaming using your card with Windows controlling it.
Thanks,
John
