Hy there,
I just bought 2 Nanostations M5 Airmax and I configured them, one as Access Point WDS and one with Station WDS.
They are linked and I get:
Signal strength: -66dBm
Transmit CCQ : 100%
Airmax Quality : about 90%
Airmax capacity :84%
with a Channel width of 40MHz.
My question is about the Horizontal/Vertical antenna alignment, it says I have -68/-68 DBm
1. Is it OK? I've attached a screenshot of the status page.
2. How do I test the real speed between the two antennas? Is there a free software I can use ?

Looks excellent to me. Is there a problem?
Experiment with turning AirMAX off. For a
single point-to-point, it may not be good.
If you want to test actual throughput on
a MIMO 2X2 like this one, you need to
transmit multiple streams. Some people
have mentioned jperf / iperf. The Ubiquiti
tech here uses an expensive commercial
package--he gets great results!
On the other hand, why not just install
and enjoy? Dave

I was just curious what speeds do I get. If it's about 70-80Mbps it's VERY fine for me. Do you think it will be like that from those numbers?
Until I can test-it I have to finish making this network, buy another two of those etc. Anyway, congratulations for this great product, it's simple to install and has a very user-friendly user interface!

Can you rephrase your question?

Hopsitu, I wouldn't be at all surprised
if you get 70-80Mbps from this link.
Try turning AirMAX off; you may
improve your speeds. Dave

My question was that "are those values good" ? I don't understand what they mean.
Anyway, guess I have to wait until I finish making the whole network for a real speed test.
Thanks for yours quick reply !

The values for the two antennas
[-68 / -68] are the received signal
strength for the two polarities--
horizontal and vertical. MIMO 2X2
provides two data streams from
one radio. They are the same,
which means they are well aligned. Dave

Those values is pretty good. Try to get this in real "world". If You get it then link will work fine for You. God bless You.
