I have this card SRC 300 for 4 years now. It was my best wlan card ever, but now since mobility driver 7.7 came out it has a poor signal receive and a simple intel 2200 mini PCI wlan card has better signal receiption then my SRC300 with 2 external antenna.
Two mmcx to sma connector pigtail cable connecting two 5dBi sma antenna, but I see half or less APs then with bult in intel wlan adapter.
What is the problem? The driver? Is it any hardware related problem e.g. the mmcx connector ?
Are there any internal ROM for firmware in the card itself? If yes, is it possible to update it?
How can I test my card to detect the problem. I loved this card, and I bought my laptop with pcmcia card slot beacuse of my SRC300.
pls help me, it was too expensive to me, and do not want to throw it away...
