Correct way of feed installation for 5.8 Ghz

Hello WiFi gurus,

What is the correct orientation of feed horn against the reflector? See images. Is the first image correct? or i should turn feed hord 90 deg.

In a 2.4 antenna, it's easy to tell. But in a 5.8Ghz antenna, feed horn is round. Need advice.

what the... what is that? I have never seen a feed like that...
it has no prongs like its a omni feed or something
did someone rig it up for you or something?

Looks like a Laird feed horn. On my Laird feedhorns like that, the feedhorn mount matches the polarity.

Therefore in that picture, the feed horn is properly fitted to the grid, and the grid is for VPOL.
