how to add package in SDK 5.0.2?

Dear Ubnt team,

i'm very happy with your hardware/software,
much more than i expected,
Thanks.

Now, i'try to add some package to firmware,
in openwrt docs say "make menuconfig" is the easy way to add packages,
but in SDK (5.0.2 for Bullet 2MHP) this not work for me,
"make" work well and generate a working firmware.

Any suggestion, or idea about this problem?
or the menuconfig is not the correct way?

Any docs, links, tutorial about how to add an existing packages (from openwrt) are very apreciated.

My self answer:
Compiled packages at openwrt (extension .ipk) contains executables that run on ubiquiti.
so this is the easy way add packages from openwrt.
