Yay my shipment of 100 NSM5, 20 Bullets & Grids and 11 Rockets and 120deg 19DB sectors has finally arrived!

I must say I am impressed. The sectors and rockets truely feel solid and well built. Love the included POE injectors - has saved me some money on country specific power supplies.

Can't wait to get some sectors up on one of my towers tomorrow. I have a number of new subs I have lined up for testing.

Hey, You get them from Dale at Gowifi?

Nope, he worked out more expensive, but I would have still got them there to support local but he would not commit on price or qty before they arrived. I got them from spectrum indo.

Good for you.
Where are you setting up?

Also a note on Dale - I have found him to be extremely helpful and the local warranty support can come in handy. I have found the cost to be worth it and am slowly building a very good business relationship with him.

Previous to ordering through Dale, I imported some gear at a slightly cheaper price. Now if any of this stuff needs to be repaired or sent back, I have to send the units back overseas which will cost much more in freight. Didnt think of this at the time.

Hi Ray,

Horowhenua.

I definately considered that aspect, but worked out what I saved will pay the shipping 3 times if I have to return them. As I said, I would have still got them off Dale, but for me it was a timeline / commitment thing, I needed to know the price and have gauranteed units to keep my business plan on track.

I have my first 5 sectors up and running and two customers connected to the first. Really good signals at 1.5km and thruput around 60Mbps (Ipref) in a 20Mhz channel. However with single streams it maxes out at 10Mbps per radio. My last sector (19db 120 deg) I put up has a 20db worse signal than my old 16db 90 sector. Im hoping that it is due to the fact I had to mount it a few degrees off level, I will get something made and go for another climb and level it up and retest.

I got a rocket M5 with the sector 16 dbi - 120 degrees. I had some problems till I got all my clients disconnected and I let just one (the one in middle of area I was pointing to) then tilted up the antena till I get maximum signal. I have this on a 60 m tower and I had to tilt it up with about 2 degrees above zero to shoot 2 degrees below zero. So, I think the antennas have some tilt down bulided in.

Now I connected from 1,5 km a NSM5 with 23 dbi and the rocket have 26 dbi and I got -58 signal and 130 mbps RX/TX rate.

Mike: I think that you are shooting down. What tilt you have now?

I have set them all at zero, (well on the bracket its set to the fourth mark in) which if the last one is -3 should be zero. I will take a level up with me this time and tripple check. The anntenna is only supposed to have 2 deg electrical downtilt.
