I had two accidend's lately client using NSloco5 conectted to router board 433 and 600 they couldn't send packet via the rocket m5 bridge, i could packet them throught that bridge but they couldn't packet me, reseting of the rocket m5 on the side of client got it working.
So in short i can ping them they can;t ping me or anything that's on my side of the bridge i have acess to everything on their side of the bridge. So what is going on ? and the problem does not affect everyone on the other side of the bridge it happened twice, in diffrent locations and two days afer each other.

Hello,
Please post your full version number from the M5. Also what MiniPCI card are you using on the Mtik?
Thanks,

Both m5 are
XM.v5.0.2
Build Number: 2956
on both mikrotik are Sparklan miniPCI WMIA-123 2.4/5GHz 802.11a/b/g cards.
and an update on the situation I had a situation that ping to a mikrotik send perfectly 100% but a ping to a client connected to that mikrotik is loss about 50%-60%. After reseting the rocket bridge ping to the client is working 100%. So that's even more strange.
another update I also noticed those things happened on most traffic hours. Thru that bridge there's conneted about 400 user generating throughput around 10-20 mb

Hello,
What mode are you operating your Rocket bridge in? Can you post your config files so I can take a look?
Thanks,
Mike

Here's the conf files I wanted to upload the support files but they are to big to be posted even when zipped.

Your network setup looks like described bellow?:
Internet <-> RocketM AP <=> RocketM STA <-> Mtik AP (433 or 600) <=> NSLoco5 <-> Internet clients
<-> - Ethernet connection
<=> - Wireless connection

You want to say, that ping from Client (NSLoco5) to Mikrotik was perfect, but ping from Mikrotik to Client (NSLoco5) was 50%-60% loss? In what mode is operating this Mikrotik device (bridge or router)?
It is really strange, that RocketM reboot solves ping loss issue... It's different network segment (If I correct understood your network setup).

In one case yes in other no, in first case it's like you described, in second it's like this Internet<-> MY-PC <-> RocketM AP <=> RocketM STA <-> Osbridge <=> Osbridge <-> Osbridge<=>Osbridge<->MtikAP433<=>NS5Loco (one client)
All mikrotiks working in bridge mode actually everything is working in bridge mode
There are several different cases in this so here goes:
Case1:
Network schematics Internet <-> my pc"MP" <-> RocketM AP <=> RocketM STA <-> Mtik AP (433 or 600) <=> NSLoco5 <-> Internet client"IC"
Ping form IC to Internet 100% OK
but ping from MP to NSL5 50%-60% loos
and ping at the same time from MP to miktorik 100% OK
and at the same time ping from NS5L to mikrotik also 100% OK
After reseting RocketM STA all pings 100% OK
Case 2 : same client
Ping from MP to NS5L 60-80% LOSS
ping from MP to Mikrotik 100% OK
Ping from NS5L to Mikrotik 40-60% loss
after reseting Rocket5M STA all pings 100% OK
(how strange IS THAT)
Case 3:
Network schema:
Internet<-> MY-PC <-> RocketM AP <=> RocketM STA <-> Osbridge <=> Osbridge <-> Osbridge<=>Osbridge<->MtikAP433<=>NS5Loco (one client)
Ping form MP to Mtik 100%OK
ping from MP to NS5L 100% LOSS
ping From Mtik to NS5L 100% OK
After reseting RocketM STA all pings 100%
Case 4
same client
Ping form MP to Mtik 100%OK
ping from MP to NS5L 100% OK
Ping from IC to MP 100% loss
After reseting RocketM STA all pings 100%
That is very strange ping works in one way but not the other way bu reseting rocket sta solves it for some time
Unfortunately i'm forced to take down this bridge due this problem.
Today i even changed the operating mode form AP and STA to AP WDS and STA WDS but it did not help.

After reseting RocketM STA all pings 100% OK
Hmm... Really strange. If ping from PC to Mikrotik is 100% OK and ping from NS5L to Mikrotik 100%. How it can be that ping from PC to NS5L has loss?
Looks like RocketM PtP link works just fine and problem is between Mikrotik and NS5L.
Case 2 : same client
Ping from MP to NS5L 60-80% LOSS
ping from MP to Mikrotik 100% OK
Ping from NS5L to Mikrotik 40-60% loss
after reseting Rocket5M STA all pings 100% OK
(how strange IS THAT)
In this case, also looks like problem is between Mikrotik and NS5L devices. Link is overloaded? How many wireless clients are connected to the Mikrotik AP? What kind of traffic is passing this link? What throughput there is? Is it possible that wireless link is flooded by i.e. bittorent traffic and you are able to see ping loss. After Rocket STA resboot (or maybe after Mikrotik reboot as well) you will get ping 100% OK, because there are no high traffic at the beginning.
Case 3:
Network schema:
Internet<-> MY-PC <-> RocketM AP <=> RocketM STA <-> Osbridge <=> Osbridge <-> Osbridge<=>Osbridge<->MtikAP433<=>NS5Loco (one client)
Ping form MP to Mtik 100%OK
ping from MP to NS5L 100% LOSS
ping From Mtik to NS5L 100% OK
After reseting RocketM STA all pings 100%
Similar as in case 1...
Case 4
same client
Ping form MP to Mtik 100%OK
ping from MP to NS5L 100% OK
Ping from IC to MP 100% loss
After reseting RocketM STA all pings 100%
Ping from IC to NS5L, to Mikrotik, to RocketM STA, to RocketM AP ?
That is very strange ping works in one way but not the other way bu reseting rocket sta solves it for some time
Unfortunately i'm forced to take down this bridge due this problem.
You have changed PtP link of RocketM devices? What equipment currently is there and do you see anything similar?

about overloading the mikrotik is a no go there's only a 1 to 3 Clients conected in both cases and rebooting mikrotik or ns5 or anything else does not work. In last case the ping to rocketm AP 100% loss, but other clients working throught that bridge working flawless I noticed this only affects clients using ns5L connected to mtik, for example client using edimax 2,4GHZ connected to cisco 1100 working great.

even more strange... Is there AirMax enabled on Rocket's?

Tried with airmax on and airmax off
I have taken the bridge down and the problem no longer exist so it's definetly a problem of the rocket m5 bridge.

So what any idea what was up ? I need to upgrade my link and got a pair of rockets and new osbridge N series, and need to decide which to use. Since it's winter out here I don't want to be forced to take rockets down(like i was forced 4 the first time) if they still have the bug causing all that i wrote before. So any lead on what happened ? So can I use rockets or just let them cover in dust on the shelf?

Hey Overburn,
Use the new Rc3 firmware and the issue should not be there.
Thanks,
Mike

Ok after uploadnig to rocket
Firmware Version: XM.v5.1
Build Number: 3635
after one moth of working everything still looks fine.
BUT i made a short bridge(600m) using 2 nanostation m5 with 5.1.2 firmware and got the same issue like on the rockets before? so whats going on ?

Can you confirm, that downgrading NanoStationM5 devices to v5.1 solves your issues?

NO i can't confirm that, didn't try this because i took that bridge down till next week then i'll try again with 5.1 firmware.

Another update i set up another bridge using rocket m5 using the exact same config as is now in the working bridge on 5.1 firmware but i loaded it to rockets with 5.1.2 firmware and again something wierd is going on, packets are sometimes going and sometimes not on the side of the clients but and that's even more bizzare only on one of the bridges after that bridge but everything was working perectly before changing the bridge do rockets. GUYS I WANT TO KNOW what to hell is going on are those rockets a big BETA TEST on us or what? magic things happens i'm not even using airmax or anything on them just simple ptp mode so wtf? How many times again i'll be forced to take those things up and down until they be working ok ?

Another Update
After downgradeing from 5.12 to 5.1 didn't fix it strange things occour. Let mi draw the situation.
My-PC>---------<linksys-switch>-----<---2xOsbridge 5gi-HP---->------<repotec switch rp-800>---------<2xRocketm5>----Nothing
In such configuration just plugging in the rocket bridge to the switch causes things like i can ping rp800 but i can't login to it and while i'm trying to login via www the pings stop to flow for some time and the issue randomly appers on every device connected after the rp800, unplugging rockest itselfs does not fix the issue to get the net working correctly again i need to reset the Osbridge that is connected to the rp800. More twisted thing is when i connect a Notebook to the rocket with nothing on the diagram i can access all the devices, but i can't from my_pc
I thought that it's the fault of the rp-800 but few minutes ago I changed that switch and after aprox 10m the same things happens all over again ?
SO i ask you again what is going on ?
ANother Update
After switching the bridge again to rockets I managed to isolate two devices that I can't ping them for some time and thing looks like this I Schema Looks Like this
My-PC--SW1-Rocketm5------Rocketm5--Sw2---Osbridge1-----Osbridge2---Sw3--nano5(AP Mode)----Loco5(client)
From My pc or Rocketm5 I can't ping(ping timeout) The Nano5 in AP mode but I can access The loco in Client mode furhermore I can Ping the nano5 from osbridge1 and osbridge2 and loco5(client) also i can Ping My_pc from the loco5
To the sw3 there are also connected another 4 devices 2x Cisco AIRAP seems working fine and WISPstation and I've got the sam issue on the wisp station(also in aP mode) liike on the nanostation5.
