Hi,

I've setup cacti snmp statistics for a few RocketM5 P2P bridges running FW v5.0.2. On the WiFi interface all looks ok, but on the LAN interface the output does not seem to be ok:

:icon_arrow: - check attached png files for details -

:icon_idea: May this effect cohere with the already solved Ethernet Lookup Bug (http://www.ubnt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14333) or the AirMax Latency/Jitter Bug (http://www.ubnt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14637)?

It's only a tittle but maybe it helps you to debug the open cases... :icon_cool:

Thx. for your great job guys,
Cheers,
-Florian

I would make a guess its ethernet equipment problem, likely not related to the unit itself.

What you have connected it to ?
Whatever it is you have there, i would assume its feeding device with traffic which is not being forwarded through bridge interface.

...

Also, the bugs you mentioned are not related to this.

There is an SNMP bug where the last digit of the OID changes. Perhaps that is causing the graphing irregularities? It's promised to be fixed in the next release.

I think that would cause visible gaps, instead you can see regular spikes, with sharp start and slightly smoother end.

If you will see gaps in cacti graphs, theres a solution: change re-index method for particular device or for all devices to "verify all fields".

I am using prtg and see spikes also. Just figure it was a bug...my ps5 are not doing the same...

we've connected our RocketM5 to different 3COM and Netgear switches. These spikes occur on all Rocket devices, but not on the switchports.
So I guess this is a fw v5.0.2 SNMP or Rocket LAN-port issue... :icon_neutral:
