passtrough poe option work only 1 up to 5 minutes ...
work perfectly on 5.0 sw

to make it work i have to uncheck this option then to apply chages ... then to recheck poe passtrough and apply changes ... work only up to 5 minutes ... then i get in index page LAN2 unpluged

this is no1 :))
other ns5m work with poe passtrough uncheck ... if i check it ... no poe passtrough :))

very strange ... i try anythink to make it to work right ... reset ... reboot ... unplug for 5 minutes ... reflash with same sw ... nothing work ... i will try tomorow to use power on Lan2 and from lan1 to pass poe to a ns5

Hello,

Is it possible to rebuild the firmware using the latest V5.0.2 release. I tested this in the lab and the PoE passthrough is working perfect for 24 hours without issue.

Thanks,

Mike

If you reverse the ethernet connections (bring power in on the secondary ethernet port) you will get power out of the primary regardless of the POE passthrough setting.

I got it to work & maintain but seemed kind of iffy to get it started.
What I noticed is I had to power on the NSM5 first, then connect the second device to the "Secondary" port after the NSM5 powered up... problem is, I had to get the secondary plugged in before the NSM5's radio turned on, otherwise it wouldnt give me power.

Hello,

What device are you connecting on the second port. We teted here with NS5M as a second device and all seemed to work properly.

Thanks,

MIke
