Am about to bring my link up in production. It is 1.9 miles, and wondering should I set the data rate for auto or hard set it. I have it set for auto now and show 117 to 130 tx/rx rates. I did try several maunal setting msc12 and msc 10, and my ccq% went way down to 30% when setting these. It stays 90 to 100% on auto. My signal level is -66db.Thanks for any insights.

I'm having the same issue, it seems to work much better at auto, just be sure to set your ack timing to 115-125% of the link distance and disable auto adjust for best results. What does your noise floor look like?

Noise shows -96 and I have manually set ack...

Noise always shows -96 on all my M equipment...I doubt it's accurate at all.

Hello,

If you are using static data rates and the CCQ drops, this usually shows that there is a need for a lower data rate, i.e interference, low signal, high error rates ect.

Thanks,

Mike
