near LoS 9km, 30dBi grids, 80mbps total speed.
The link has 2 problems:
1.ping is high ~20-30ms in average with 20mbps trafic; with 70mbps is the same;
2.when traffic is high (20mbps), Signal Strength:-67 dBm, when is low, Signal Strength:-62 dBm;
-the same for TX/RX Rate: 121.5 Mbps / 121.5 Mbps from 150mbps/150mbps
-the same for AirMax Quality: 88 %, whithout traffic is 95%

On the same link with Mikrotik speed was ~50mbps, signal -70 (R52 cards) ping under 10ms.
Firmware RC6, ACK 10.1km.

Just curious...are you using 40Mhz bandwidths?

it's a bullet getting 120-150mbps rates, so of course it's a 40mhz channel

i'm curious if you got the 50mbps/10ms on microtik with nstreme or with nstreme2...

also if your modulation rate is ticking down under load, perhaps your ack timeout is set too _high_. i'm able to reproduce that problem rather easily in my test environment with bullets and mimo rockets

I've made some tests and with Airmax disabled the link has 1ms and 32mbps but when is enabled I get 80mbps and 20-30ms, so it's an Airmax problem
With Mikrotik and nstreme, the best I've got was 75mbps, at 65mbps ping was under 10ms.
I will not upgrade to 5.0.2 because the link is made in 5900Mhz and with 5.0.2 is only to 5620Mhz.
After some more tests, no mater how I set ACK (real or other values till 125%) the ping is still ~20-30ms and the signal goes from -59...-61 without traffic, to -67-...-69 with traffic.
Why 7dBi difference?

so... nobody know how to reduce latency and why the signal drop 8dBi when is traffic?

Hello,

Can you test the latency at a lower frequency?

Thanks,

Mike

the same for 5600Mhz ~17ms with 10mbps traffic and ~30ms with 70mbps.
LE. the same for 5500Mhz

We're getting the same problems with latency on our Bullet 5M PtP links.
Getting an average of ~25ms with or without load when Airmax is enabled. The response-time from time to time briefly goes down to around 1-3ms, but then goes up to it's usual habits.

2 InoX, try setting diff than country code/ even "compliant test" and pick diff fq to TX lets measure the throughput and ping test.
trial and error here might have worth payback.
have fun.... play around with it...
NB: check/ enable "channel scan list" in station mode.
but the look of your result is very good datarate indeed.. thus its result excellent throughput???

2 lord Mike.Ford, could you explain the enhancement/ feature of airmax itself please(sorry being so dummy), I had these enable but seem its nothing diff?

Aggregation is on or off? I recommend to turn it on. ACK?

Why is it that I got varying speeds when choosing between different freqs? Is it becauseof noise?

I have settled in the 5700mhz but aside from trial and error, is there a way to find out the best freq that will give me the maximum throughput?

Also, i tried upgrading to BETA firmware 5.0.2 and found out that 5700 mhz is no longer available. why?

because to fix something, they must broke something else first.

5700 Mhz is no longer available in United States country code, as its not a legal channel to use.

Thanks,

Mike
