I notice a buzzing noise when aligning my bullet.
The noise stops when no traffic flows.
It sounds like those voltage regulators on cheap computer mainboards...

What POE adapter are you using and how long is your Ethernet cable?
I noticed the same thing with a RocketM in the office when I "under-volted" it on an extremely long cable run.
Edit: Let me add that the calculated voltage at the Rocket was 10.8 Volts at the time.

Hey Guys,
This is normal and will not affect the life/performance of the unit.
Thanks,
Mike

For those that didn't know.
UBNT stands for
"Universal BuzzyBee Network Transport"
When its buzzing the invisible bees are flying at rapid speeds to the other location, were the honey is, honey is then packaged and are sent via tcp/ip to your computer, that dust you see in your desktop when you open it to clean, is the by product of bees.
Might want to add that to the wiki Mike?

Mebbe the Bullet is passing gas, err...AirOS or AirMax.
