hello there everyone,
im having a problem getting my src 5004 working in linux on a 2.6.29 kernel in gentoo. ive tried ath5k and madwifi and neither work. i filed a bug report with madwifi here : http://madwifi-project.org/ticket/2348 and for ath5k here http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13900
card reacts the same under 2.6 kernels that ive tested so far over the last year. card works fine in windows. ive tried multiple versions of madwifi and multiple kernels all to no avail. i think ive exhausted every avenue i can.
i get a status 3 error and im wondering if anyone else has similar problems.

edit: i can get the card working with backtrack 4 (ubuntu) and 2.6.29 - so i have a feeling its not driver related but am stumped as to what could cause the card to 'not wakeup' perhaps acpi or something else ? i have a dell laptop precision m4300.
