Please see description below and suggest a configuration.

Thank you.

6 km link over sea with line of sight.

Point A. Litestation 5a connected to adsl router (2mbps internet connection) that needs to be "sent" to Point B whereas needs to be distributed.

Point B. Litestation 5b connected to a Bullet2 through a switch. Bullet 2 needs to provide internet to 6 clients only.

Please explain as clear as possible the software set up from the adsl modem (ip addressing etc) to the final stage of distributing internet to the clients.

i.e mode of operation, ip routing, dhcp (if its to be used), antenna settings, ack timimg etc.

I would like to thank you in advance for your time.

Andreas

ps. also would it be ok if the 5.4-5.75ghz grid antenna is only one meter higher of the roof edge of the 5 meter tall building ?

Andreas, I may be talking beyond my
pay scale here--somebody please
tell me if I am.

But you are asking for free engineering
help to completely design a system.
This is what most of the people on
this forum get paid to do.

It's one thing to help with a specific
issue or concept--especially if it's a
bug. It seems you want far more. Dave

even if you are not "beyond your pay scale" as you stated, I dont think i care. I do apologise but still, its my opinion that since I have purchased the equipment from ubiquiti I am asking ubiquiti personel for assistance in setting it up the best way possible since there are more than one option. in the mean time if there is someone else willing to offer advise i am perfectly ok with it and also happy that someone wants to share experience and knowledge. i hope there are few more people out there with a different understanding of your "far more". still if you do have something to contribute in my 1st wireless link attempt feel free to share.
ps. this is the reply (to the same inquiry) from ubnt support center....
