Hello,
It will not allow you to connect if it is a WEP network, or using incompatible settings.
Thanks,
Mike

of course i ask this because of problems. i have 3 b2m installed. were working fine for a few weeks. in trouble shooting i discovered the missing radio buttons. initial install a survey was not done, just typed the pertinent info in the configuration. they still associate but with serious throughput issues. AP is a ps2ext set at WPA2. plan to upgrade as soon as equipment is available.
ps. hope to see in Chicago
under what circumstances does the radio button not show on a discovered network. It appears to be a random thing for me. I can do it site survey, err...a SELECT one day and go back a few days later and one or more radio buttons are blanked out.
Of course you won't see radio buttons in a Site Survey as that's all it is, no selectable items for that function.

Hey Guys,
Please post your configuration files and support info files here. Next, if you know the AP's security settings, post them here (encryption type) and if the radio button is not there to select the network.
Thanks,
Mike

briefly the ps2ext had a setting of wpa2. changing it to be wpa2-aes caused the radio button to appear. had problems with some of the equipment already on the systwem negotiating. i ask why would it associate if the survey did not think it would and if that would explain the problems with the throughput I'm having. I'll try to get the config to you email.
