We are facing problem with B2HP...
Router---------Switch------ B2HP (Two B2HP one with Omni Ant and Other with Greed Ant on different channels)
two b2hp connected with 15W UBNT PoE (properly Provided Earthing) connected to soho 8 Port switch and than connected to router. In the morning when turn on power giving us no connectivity to LAN (Request Timeout), Radio always work which is confirmed by scaning through another equipement. After power cycle start working, we start getting reply, this makes us crazy, in the moring we always keep our fingure cross wheather it will start working or not and every couple of days this problem keep repeating. We change CAT6 E cable. Provide proper Earthing to Tower. But that did not help. From Router to switch connectivity is never issue but from switch to B2HP gives us trouble. Any solution?
What I would do in a problem like that is narrow the scope of the issue.
I would use the exact same soho switch and two radio set up on the office, and try to duplicate the problem. Even use the same length of all the ethernet cables.
If I can't duplicate the problem, then it would mean the problem is specific to the installed location.
If I can duplicate the problem, then I'd try a different soho switch.
Ummmm....actually the first thing I'd try is connecting the two radios that are our at the tower site directly together and not use the switch. I'd use at least a ten foot long straigth through patch cable, and also try a long cross-over cable. See what happens when you try that. If a direct connection works, then that switch might be the problem.
