Hello!

What type are the connectors present on RocketDish 5G-30 antenna?

I haven't found any sure info in the datasheet: http://ubnt.com/downloads/Rocket_Dish5G-30.pdf, but looking at the photos they seem to be the same RPSMA's present on RocketM5.

I'd like to have a sure info, please. ;)

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

The Rocket Dish has RP-SMA connectors, the same as on the Rocket's.

Thanks,

Mike

Also --

The RF jumpers and Rocket bracket are included with the dish. So, if you buy the pair (Rocket M5 + RocketDish), you will have everything you need.

Why RP-SMA, Robert? Type N would
be a lot more rugged and universal. Dave

I wondered this myself. Of course I haven't gotten my hands on one yet, but it could be a space issue on the top of the unit. N-types could have been a bit bulky.

The RPSMA integrates well with the rocket mount and the rocket itself (along with our weatherproof cables).

Ben

OK, but that's an answer based on a premise.

Almost every other antenna I've seen in this
market uses Type N. So does the Bullet. Dave

Hey Dave,

The RocketDish is specifically designed to be used with the Rocket M's. The RP-SMA cables and connectors we use are very rugged and high quality, and every RocketDish comes with our specially made RP-SMA jumpers. These plug directly into rocket and make the units completley water proof.

However they can be used with other devices, but an N to RP-SMA adapter must be used.

Thanks,
