Hi Steven,
I am looking for clarification. If you go to downloads and Mobility, there is a driver there for the SR71C. This is just the driver. There is no utility for it as you go thru Windows to set up the connection and ect. What are you looking at are asking for?

Hey Tim,
I have an SR71X card but cannot get it to work under Windows Vista 64 with the aforementioned driver. I had to manually Install the driver for the SR71C. and the Utility doesnt work either. Was wondering if Ubiquiti was working on a workaround or perhaps Drivers/Utilities for Use with Vista Ultimate 64? Thanks for the response, and looking forward to using this card as intended.
Steven
Edit: the Atheros drivers for thier AR9280 chipset works better than the prepackaged drivers manually installed. Just thinking maybe Ubiquiti would have drivers/utilities specifically designed for the SR71X

Hi Steven,
At this time there is not a utility for the the SR71 series. Can you explain what happened when you tried to install the card? I have heard on occasion, that some people had to go to device manager and install the driver manually by directing the installer to the ubnt_**** file that is in the system32 file and then it will install.
Please let me know what you experienced so i can take a look at that here.
thanks

Tim,
Thats what i had to do: Manually install the drivers directing it to the directory that the package unzipped to but no drivers for the X model only the C. Either way I guess i'm lucky it works at all from what I hear. Gets great reception, just looking for a way to monitor network signal strength. No adjustments to anything really. I would think that a professional card like this would have alot better support. I'm not unhappy, just wanted more bells and whistles to go along with the pricetag. But for all intents and purposes it does what it was advertised to do better than anything I currently have. So thanks, and I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed for more updates/ Utilities/ better drivers. Atheros drivers aren't much better. I guess Vista 64 just Isn't mainstream enough yet. Maybe you can support Win7 64?

well,, when Win 7 is final and out in the wild and not as a beta, we will support that too.
wish you the best
Windows 7 was "released to manufacturing" on July 22nd and became available via technet and MSDN on August 6th.

Yes, we are aware of the release to manufactoring, but we are waiting for the release to the public, as there is still alot of time for changes and patches as ect... to take place.

Tim can i assume that your Win7 support will be just as "Good" as your Vista support? Laughable to say the least. I guess i'll just wait till someone else supports your hardware for you.
