Perhaps this isn't possible with `iwlist' and friends, but here goes.
I noticed that my NS5 Loco AP and station report different noise floor values. The AP is often at -96 dBm (although this morning it is at -91 dBm) and the station is at -88 to -90 dBm operating at 5.765 GHz. I'll note that the station is about 300m from another farmstead and is pointed directly at it so they could have a 5 GHz cordless phone or something similar in operation.
Is it possible for the Site Survey tool to report the observed noise floor? I think this would be a useful addition for discovering a more quiet channel.
