hey mike gud day again
im just gonna ask if is safe this kind of setup my gigabit switch has POE ready then my nanostation connected to switch,. im curious

Check the stated voltage and pins for the POE on the switch. Most I've seen are not compatible with Ubiquiti's stuff. Had to wire my own panel. If there are any reasonably priced units out there I'd love to know about them.

Hello,
no this is not possible. I would recommend checking into our Instant 802.3af PoE converters. They take the 48V out of that switch and convert it to 17V non-802.3af for our units.

i disable my POE port in my switch where the UBNT rj45 connected for safety :icon_surprised:
