Im running a Vista computer and it wont talk to the NS2. It will however talk on a Mac. Tried so many different setup guides for static IP, all failures. I know my computer detects something is plugged in because i got two lights on the NS2 and my computer detects it.
Any input would help greatly, thanks.

Hi:
Maybe a stupid question but it is TCP IPv4 that you are setting to static IP?
Eg 192.168.1.10
sub 255.255.255.0
Alternatively, assuming the rest of your network connects ok, have you connected your NS2 via your network switch/router?
I am using Vista home premium and sometimes have to disable the wireless adaptor then enable. Seems to lock when I have used a variety of devices - configuring my ubnt devices.
I found with my NS5 Loco radios that when connecting the computer direct to the POE injector that a crossover cable is required. With a switch in between the NS and the computer straight through cables should be used.

You need to disable your wireless conection on PC if connecting via ethernet to the nano.
OR
connect the nano to a spare ethernet port (Lan) on your router.
Your router will have to be using the network sement 192.168.1.x
If using DHCP ensure it des not issue 192.168.1.20 (factory default for ubnt kit)
Does the PC connect to your router via ethernet port?
Only thought left: Check security settings (Local), on Vista.
