I'm trying to use nagios, zabbix or dude to monitoring stations. Someone suggested as a better choice? What's the best to use with Nanostation?

Hi: I'm happily using Dude with PS2, Nano2s and Loco2s.

Gives instant feedback on the status of all my clients.

Obviously can do more if you use a MikrotiK router

I recommend dude to a certain size... otherwise go with nagios... the more clients and things you are monitoring the worse the dude runs... I have a 150kbps overhead right now and I only monitor ping and signal on 90% of my network. that is only infrastructure and business clients... I am using a self built monitoring system for residential.

Actually, I use Cacti a lot - it's great :icon_cool: And beside Cacti I'm also testing Nagios, but I do not know - Cacti with its Threshold and WeatherMap will be sufficient for our needs. Can anyone tell me the most valuable feature(s) of Nagios ? From my current point of view - Nagios is really hard to configure ... :icon_rolleyes:

Thx :ubnt_banana:
