I would just like to let you guys know that JRE 1.6 is included on all intel Macs running snow leopard. I am running a Core Duo Macbook and the AirView application launches and appears to work just fine (I don't have the hardware yet to test it completely).
Is there any active testing with Snow Leopard yet? Hopefully this means I can finally pick one of these up for my macbook.

Core Duo? Not the newer Core 2 Duo? Did you purchase your Macbook prior to Oct. 2006? What version of Java 6 SE? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
Please provide the output of "java -version" in your reply.
Well, the proof will be in the USB dongle pudding. If the app is able to locate, initialize, and communicate with the dongle. In other words, do the serial libraries included with the app work on whichever Java 6 JRE they provided. You won't know that until you get the device and try it. Please let us know.

From the questions I'm asking I'm sure you can gather that we haven't done any testing on Snow Leopard, but if the Java 6 is 64-bit then the low-level serial libraries for AirView should work fine.

This should answer your questions.

Like I said the AirView application loads but without the dongle I can't test if it full works. And to be honest I don't want to spend $40 to test it.

Airview does work on Snow Leopard with the regular Core Duo. I installed Snow Leopard on an external hard drive with my Z0DL-GLOSSY Macbook Pro 15.4 and it works fine. It doesn't work on regular Leopard though.
