Well thanks to this board I actually had my first highspeed internet connection in 5 years last night. This morning however its gone. Here is my layout

INTERNET----SWITCH-----NANO(A)-----------------------NANO(B)----LINKSYS AP

I followed the wiki guide for setting up a bridge. When i log into nano b I have great signal strength and I can do a speed test, so I guess they are "talking" to each other. However when I goto connect to the internet I get the "page not found". I also tried taking the Linksys ap out of the equation and still not dice.

Anyone have some troubleshooting steps I can take?

Thanks
Matt

Hello Matt,

Are you getting an ethernet connection light on the units on both sides?

Thanks,

Mike

I am on my side. Unfortunately I have to make about a 30 minute drive to the other nano unless there is a way to check remotely. Would it make a difference if the AP nano was connected to a switch rather than a router? I am fairly certain the the problem lies on the AP side as I am able to connect to other networks on my side when I put the nano is station mode (no WDS). Also both my nanos seem to have the same IP, is that normal?

Thanks so much
Matt

Hello matt,

Having the same Ip is a big problem. Can you make sure they are getting their proper addres and then test again?

Thanks,

As you can tell I am really new to all of this. Can you explain how I would go about do that?

Log in to your device, go to network tab. And change the last number of the ip address. For example 21 Then hit change on the bottom of the screen and apply on top of the screen.
next time you log in you have to use that ip address!
